This was not just another annual award from Sri Raghavendra Chitravani. There was lot of emotion filled awards evening. Some admissions, objections, permissions, projections, perfections were heard from the speakers on the evening.

The objection was from Ashwathnarayana, admissions from Hema Chaudhary, perfection was from RCV team, and projection from Dwarakish, permission was from the speech of KSL Swamee.

We give you highlights of the awards evening held at The Bell Hotel on 24th May 2012. The program began after mouth watering Uppittu, Bonda, Jilebi, coffee, Tea and of course unforgettable saxophone from Sridhar Sagar.

Rajesh Padiyar Hindustani style Prarthana an Infosys employee in Mysore was as good as the anchor Aparna handling the show.

·         KV CHANDRASEKHAR – I was not invited but yet I went to DV Sudheendra award function long ago on the insistence. Today I am guest is god sent gift.

·         RG VIJAYASARATHY – Recounting the Vidhuranidhi he went back to the 72 era of writing for Movie land magazine. His continuation till now came in his speech. RGV wished to give the money received to Prerana Center in Gorguntepalya.

·         HEMA CHAUDHARY – This is my 35th year of cinema profession. Naane Punyavathi. My mentors are Dwarakish and KSL Swamee in Vijaya Vani cinema. My Pranama to the veterans. This money goes to Comfort foundation children who are deprive din society.

·         JOE SIMON – This is Prathama and Uttamma among all

·         ASHWATHNARAYANA – Weeping with tears urged for job of Rs.500 to Rs.1000 to live in life instead of just borrowing like that. The sacrificing nature what Dr Rajakumar had should be imbibed by all. Dr Raj went on hunger strike for three days when food was not offered stomach full he remembered.

·         SA RA GOVINDU – This is like Guruvandane and Guru Kanike event.

·         THARA ANURADHA – This is my home program. I appreciate the self respect of Ashwathnarayana. Give me chance and money he said it well.

·         DWARAKISH – Bagavantha says Start and Cut. Ashwathnarayana should know my life story of 18 years interval. Not everyone can become Rajakumar, Rajanikanth or Amitabh Bachcan. In life Nyaya and Sathya is important. It will protect us at the climax of life. rajanikanth came in cycle to my son Upanayana. He asked for a remake film production. I agreed and it was ‘Gangva’. I came here today for HN Muddhurkrishna and RG Vijayasarathy. When no one was there to buy Mayor Muthanna it was Muddhurkrishna gave me Rs.50000 profit and bought the film. Rajakumar payment was Rs.8000 but I earned five times profit from ‘MM’.  Applying Banna takes two hours removing it takes only two minutes. Artists should not lose their heart. Health is wealth they should know. I lost 38 crores in life and that was what I earned.

·         RGV Vijayasarathy called me when I was in bad stage before Aptha Mithra. Winner will not quit. Quitter will never win he told me. It went deep inside to make ‘Aptha Mithra’ film.

·         Idhu Hrudayadha award. Swachcha, Lobby Illadha award. This 11 let it become 111 years for Sri Raghavendra Chitravani.

·         KSL SWAMEE – Is it not possible to safeguard 50 to 100 artists in distress for this huge industry. After CVL Shastry I am managing the Ashaktha Kalavidaru monthly pension. If Rs.200 is not delivered they ask in a very sorrow stage. It is time to support such veterans.  Recently at IPL Cricketer Venkatesh Prasad was given Rs.1 crore and EAS Prasanna was given Rs.60 lakhs.  Supporting actors should be safe guarded.
